Success Stories
Grace Van Slooten
Michigan State Spartans
I recently finished my second off-season training with Ryan. Our first off-season together was amazing and helped prepare me for my time with Team USA and Oregon. I did not know what to expect in year 2 but Ryan found new ways to elevate my skill and athleticism. He pushes me to get the most out of my body and is extremely knowledgeable about basketball and performance in general.
Jerry Easter
ESPN Top100, La Lumiere
Jerry Easter Sr: “Ryan has been more than just a trainer for Jerry. We are extremely grateful for his relationship that goes beyond the court with our son. Working with Ryan laid the foundation for Jerry to find success on the EYBL circuit. Jerry elevated his athleticism (vertical +3 inches) and has been injury free since working with Ryan.”
Connor Keefer
From JV to 2nd Team All District
Scott (Conners Dad): When Conner first went to Ryan it was out of desperation. Everything we did for my son seemed to not help him. From the first workout with Ryan I knew we were in the right place. Ryan is more than a trainer to my son and he has helped him in many ways. Conner’s athleticism improved immensely and he went from playing JV as a Junior to scoring 10 ppg on Varsity his senior season.
Jaedyn McKinstry
Louisiana Monroe
“Working with Ryan has been a great experience. He has pushed me to be a better athlete on and off the field and I have gained valuable knowledge that still impacts me even when I am with my team in Louisiana. My top speed increased from 18 mph to 20+ mph since we started working together.”
Josh Thorban
University of Findlay
I started training with Ryan during the off-season before my senior year of high school. Ryan helped me add 7 inches to my vertical. I couldn’t dunk before I started working with him and had 3 dunks in a game my senior year along with reaching 1,000 points and breaking the school record for most points in a game with 52. Ryan was a big reason that I was able to get a scholarship to the University of Findlay.
Carter Lowe
5 star, #3 lineman in US, OSU commit
Ryan has helped me to continue to improve my athleticism. When I first start with him I was slow, injury prone, and weak. He helped me in all of my weakest areas and helped me stay injury free last season.
Kosta Thrasivoulou
Trine Football, 4.5 to 4.4
When Kosta first began working with us his max speed was 21 mph and his 40 yard dash was 4.5 seconds. After 3 months of work he reached >22.5 mph, ran a 40 yard PR of 4.4, and ran a .99 10 yard split (ranks in top NFL combine metrics)
Sara Pahl
Grand Valley State University
I began training with Ryan in the summer before I went to GVSU. Ryan helped prepare me so that I went in to college in great shape and to be ahead of the curve compared to my teammates in my class. In addition, he helped me gain over 2 inches on my vertical after I finished playing High School.
Mike Edwards
Trine Football
When I first came to Ryan the fastest 40 yard sprint time I had ever gotten was a 4.7. After our first off-season I hit a new PR of 4.57 and in the next off-season ran a 4.48. In addition, Ryan helped me overcome nagging injuries that continuously held me back while playing in college.

Note from Head Coach Mike Schoen, “Ryan was instrumental in our success in the 2023 season, helping us reach the final 4 for the first time in 9 years. Ryan’s passion and attention to detail helped every member of our team become more confident and skilled on the court. We will continue to work with Ryan for the foreseeable future and view his service as a top priority for our program”

EASY IN SEASON JUMP WORKOUT YOU CAN DO TO KEEP JUMPING HIGHER WITHOUT KILLING YOUR LEGS ...
I take A LOT of pride in doing what I do. I genuinely want to be the best trainer out there and it means something to me. THESE TEXTS MEAN SOMETHING TO ME. Becoming a game-changer MEANS SOMETHING TO ME. It’s not just sports.
I was asked the other day what my job was… my job is to get the absolute best out of my clients on a daily basis. It’s not just training or performance, it’s so much more than that. CONFIDENCE, LEADERSHIP, COMMUNICATION, EI, SELF ESTEEM, TENACITY, TOUGHNESS, GRATITUDE. I TAKE MORE PRIDE IN HELPING EACH CLIENT BECOME THE BEST PERSON THEY CAN BE over anything else. In doing that we also elevate performance to levels most couldn’t even imagine.
This was by far the best off-season yet. Our players consistently have a competitive edge against the competition and the gap is only growing bigger. If you don’t know yet, Now you know.

WHY SPEED?
This hits close to home because I remember being the kid that was told “I would never be athletic, because of my genetics”. It’s been a journey but we are still getting after it! AMA

In my opinion the best unsigned WR in the 2025 class. Karter is just another example of what hard work will do for you over time. Seeing him go out there and dominate motivates me even more to keep pushing. All of the early mornings and late nights are worth it when you see the work pay off. Keep going Karter. HOOPS NEXT

OUTWORK SELF DOUBT
you’ll never know when your time is coming… when all of the hard work pays off. You just never know when that moment will happen. You have to work blindly hoping that it does. THIS IS WHERE FAITH IS IMPORTANT. faith in yourself that if you give your best everyday. That some point it will pay off.

There’s always people who make a huge impact on you in your journey to becoming who you are. Nick Swint is one of those people. Nick trained me from 6th-8th grade before moving to PGA Headquarters to work with professional golfers at TPC Sawgrass. Nick went on to work with top athletes, teams, programs in the entire country! Including Olympians and Professional athletes in multiple sports.
To this day, I still remember most things that Nick taught me about the human body, movement, and how to train safely without injury. To have him visit HQ with his family was very meaningful to me. When I first met Nick, he and his now wife Betsy, were just starting in their relationship. Now they have 3 kids… and I’m training them! What a full circle moment. Grateful to have so many great friendships that have helped shape me along the way.

GREAT FOR ANY SPORT. LETS DO MORE REAL INSTEAD OF FAKE. THIS IS REAL. THIS IS HOW YOU GET QUICKER ...
PURPOSE OF THIS VIDEO:
1) understand how different variables effect jumping. It was interesting to see how important the arms became as we increased the intensity of the jump. (For example: depth drops) The more intense the jump the more important the arms become. This means in sport this is critical. If you want great jumpers like Ja Morant it’s easy to see how powerful his arm swing is.
2) Testing data: We can use these different baselines to focus on specific stimuli in training. Depth drops can be a great way to judge readiness. Standard jump with no arms can help us understand how powerful our legs are and penultimate jumps can help us understand if we are using the SSC efficiently in our mechanics.
3) Performance: having accurate data can be so useful in workouts. Is it important that I jumped 18 on standing vertical? No idrc tbh. What’s important is that I’m competing against myself to get 19 on the next. This is how you make gains. I think overtime I’ll see my numbers go up just because of that.
